Acqua di Gio Essenza

Acqua di Gio Essenza (2012) is a wood-aquatic blend with an elegant edge. It opens on water notes, bergamot, grapefruit, and a marine/ozonic note (cascalone) — fresh, clean, salty sea air with citrus brightness. n the heart, you find basil, jasmine, sage, adding herbal, floral green tones. As it dries, the base brings in pepper, cedar, patchouli, vetiver, ambergris, amber — woody, spicy, and softly warm. 

The result: it feels sporty, aquatic, clean — but with enough woody/amber depth so it doesn’t stay flat. It’s a more mature, intensified version of the original Gio aura.

Wear it for daytime, summer, seaside dinners, city strolls in warm weather — anywhere you want to feel fresh but grounded.
